I love RootsMagic9. I keep my family tree on RootsMagic, backed up using the RootsMagic backup of course, and manually add to my RootsMagic tree when I am certain of the heritage of any candidate ancestor. This means that I can follow all hints on Ancestry and MyHeritage, and speculatively investigate other peoples' trees - particularly possible links between DNA-matched cousins and remote common ancestors, without contaminating my RootsMagic pristine tree. From time to time I do delete my tree on Ancestry and export, using Ancestry TreeShare within RootMagic, to put my 'clean' tree onto Ancestry. A specific improvement that RM9 has over the previous version is the facility to produce and manage books within the 'Publish' menu option. All in all, I find RootsMagic9 to be excellent.
