“I have been searching since the mid 1970's when my father died. He had said nothing of his father but I found out later later that my father had been conceived out of wedlock in 1911 although a marriage did happen before my father was born. The family came from a small somerset village and in those days it was a terrible sin. I know have decided and received permission to be hurried in th family grave in the village when my time comes. I will have come home. Now to your real question. Thank you and your staff for a great magazine, full of wide ranging and interesting information. I will be placing a regular order. Would it be possible to include some history of smaller communities where life in the 18 and 19th centuries was very different, although the same power/position struggles when on as they did in the larger more affluent societies. Once again thank you all John. From south somerset.”
