“I loved the product I bought from you - so much so that I tried to buy another two packs. Unfortunately, your website would not let me because it thought I was a robot. I phoned your company and was advised to use a different browser. I tried two further browsers but your site still thought I was a robot. In the end, I bought from someone else.”

“I have been a regular customer - 2 or 3 purchases a year for a considerable time. My mpst recent purchase was faultless - competent and friendly service on the telephone and prompt deliverly. Several weeks previously I had a different experience when I was told that it was inconvenient to take my order and that I should order online. In consequence I delayed placing the order for several weeks and was relieved to find that the usual standard of service had been restored.”

“Easy to transfer from my old family origins software. But am currently experiencing difficulty using it. I understood it was very similar to family origins which is why I updated to roots magic 10. Hopefully I will find my way around it soon, otherwise I'll go back to family origins which was easy to use”

“Straight forward purchase and download, software installed and up and running in minutes. Would have been 5 stars, but limited payment options. No option to pay by paypal, otherwise would have bought more items. Paypal is my prefered payment option along with 90% of all online shoppers.”

“I upgraded from RootsMagic Version 8 to version 9. Within a week RootsMagic sent out a invitation to upgrade to version 10 ! I feel you should have informed me of this new upgrade giving me the option of waiting, instead of asking me for a further subscription.”

Hi Douglas, RootsMagic are offering free upgrades to version 10 for those who purchased version 9 after 15th April 2024 so you should receive an email with your free upgrade in the next few days. I hope this helps but please let us know if you have any further queries.

“I enjoy Roots Magic and Roots Magic 9. I like the updates but my only disappointment is when transferring information and names it lists the names but the family tree has to be created again and this takes so much time to do.”
