“Only recently purchased Roots Magic 11 and very much still finding my way around it but it seems to have everything and more that I am likely to need. So far anytime I have come across something that I think can be improved it has turned out that the shortcut was already there, I just didn't know about it. The online videos sre a big help in that regard.”

“I was having problems downloading an online upgrade for RootsMagic immediately following my discharge from hospital (arguably not a sensible place to start!). I asked S&N for technical support and David Bayley came to my aid. He quickly explained the process and guided me though the upgrade without any fuss. He was absolutely brilliant and I am extremely grateful to him for his patience!”

“Becky sent me very clear instructions on how to import v7 files into v11. It worked a treat. I find written step by step instructions easier to deal with than videos; with the latter I have to make notes and then undertake the task.”

“Since meeting this company at a history ancestry event a few years ago all I can say this the romantic software works well and was happy to purchase the upgrade to version 11. Much better at finding issues with family tree at no extra cost within the package than paying for online extra tools at a well known site. Also helped me discover familytree website and integrate with what I’d recently started in there. Version 11 seems much simpler to use as well for me a novice in family tree research”

“Link to download software, User ID, was delivered quickly, worked first time and download, updates worked first time and upload quickly. It does exactly what it says on the tin, and would recommend product to all.”

“S&N online service - excellent. Used it to buy/update to RootsMagic 8, 9, 10, and 11. Unfortunately, these products look horrible, waste my time showing stuff I neither need nor want (and I haven't found out how to stop it), and add nothing to the actual business of maintaining genealogical information. I do not keep a tree on FMP, Ancestry, or Genealogy - I got tired of being directed to records that I had already found for myself and ascertained that they were not relevant! I have therefore no desire to link to these and other organizations with a view to adding records to my Roots trees. Roots 7 will therefore remain my product of choice - and Roots 11 is the last I shall spend money acquiring!”
